Dr. Judith Roelly, podiatrist, has held a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine since 2013. Wishing to familiarize herself with the workings of a podiatric clinic before launching her own practices, Dr. Roelly, podiatrist, became involved with various Quebec establishments.

A member of the Order of Podiatrists since 2013, it was in June 2014 that the practitioner inaugurated the Podiatric Clinic of the Falls with her collaborator, podiatrist Dr. Marie-Michelle Fecteau. Finally, in 2015, the two podiatrists took the reins of the Podiatric Clinic of Jonquière in Saguenay.

Irrefutable medical knowledge

The appeal of health sciences is not new for Dr. Roelly, podiatrist. Indeed, having been bitten by the wound care bug early on, she first completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences at Laval University, graduating with honors.

Subsequently, with the aim of offering even more personalized treatments to her patients, she successfully completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at UQTR and her externship at NYCPM.

In line with her academic path marked by excellence, the practitioner did not take long to obtain an additional certification in foot ultrasound.

Versatile in her interventions, Dr. Roelly, podiatrist, is capable of treating various foot pathologies. However, she maintains an interest in dermatological plantar disorders.

A podiatrist passionate about her role

Enthusiastic about getting involved with her colleagues, Dr. Roelly, podiatrist, served on the board of directors of her order from 2013 to 2017.

During her studies, she also provided foot care at Accueil Bonneau and at the community clinic of Maison Lauberivière.

Available and quick-witted, podiatrist Judith Roelly stands out for the quality of her support and the care she offers to her patients.

Dr. Marie-Michelle Fecteau, podiatrist, has been treating foot ailments since she graduated in 2013. After opening her first clinic in June 2014, she wanted to provide quality podiatric treatments to the people of her home region by acquiring the Clinique Podiatrique de Jonquière in 2015 with her colleague, podiatrist Judith Roelly.

Strong technical and theoretical skills

The podiatrist’s professional interest in health sciences dates back to 2006, when she began a bachelor’s degree in medical biology, which she completed in 2009. Eager for new knowledge, she started her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine the same year, culminating in a few months of internship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Demonstrating a genuine curiosity for the various cases that cross her path, Dr. Fecteau, podiatrist, enhances her interventions by obtaining a radiology license. She has also recently acquired a certification in foot ultrasound and is authorized to administer radial shockwave therapy.

Although she is interested in biomechanics and wound care, Dr. Marie-Michelle Fecteau promotes a fairly universal practice of podiatry.

An ambassador for her profession

Even though she remains very busy with her clinics in Beauport and Jonquière, Dr. Fecteau, podiatrist, finds time to promote her profession.

To do this, she and her colleague host conferences aimed at demystifying the podiatrist profession to other health professionals such as pharmacists.

Very committed to her role as a podiatrist, Dr. Marie-Michelle Fecteau demonstrates great empathy in all her interventions.

Dr. Lysianne Gaudreault, podiatrist, graduated from UQTR in 2023. She greatly appreciates the diversity that podiatric medicine has to offer. She particularly enjoys biomechanics and wound care. She was on the dean’s honor list from 2019 to 2022 for the excellence of her academic results. She was also involved with Lauberivière during her studies, volunteering at the podiatry clinic. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and practices running.

We know that she will bring great expertise to her future patients.

Dr. Vaillancourt, podiatrist, graduated from UQTR this year. She loves running and outdoor activities, which allows her to clear her mind, appreciate the present moment, and admire nature. She is particularly interested in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain. She enjoys the challenge of relieving patients’ pain in order to help them regain their quality of life. Additionally, wound treatment is another aspect of podiatric medicine that she greatly appreciates.

Wounds can have their share of complexity, but when a wound progresses positively due to the treatment plan applied, it is a source of great satisfaction for Dr. Vaillancourt, podiatrist.

Since 2017, Dr. Stéphanie Poulin, podiatrist, has been practicing with passion and dedication. She takes care of each patient with her active listening and genuine desire to help. She tailors each treatment to the person in front of her in order to optimize therapeutic success. Always on the lookout for new knowledge and updates in the medical and podiatric fields, she ensures to give the best to her patients. Moreover, she has the necessary training to use ultrasound, whether for diagnostic evaluation or for injections.

It is therefore with empathy, respect, and honesty that she will attend to the prevention and health of your feet.

Graduated in nursing care techniques, Camille has been a member of the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ) since May 2015. She has worked in several departments in hospitals including emergency, cardiology, medicine, palliative care, and at the CLSC in home support. The experience gained in different departments has allowed her to develop her sense of responsibility and initiative. She is passionate about the health field. Eager for knowledge, she enjoys deepening her skills. Her experience with clients is an asset for the clinic.

Camille has been working at the clinic since March 4, 2024. She is very gentle and meticulous. Her good humor and listening skills are greatly appreciated by our patients.

Graduated in Radiodiagnosis from Cégep de Sainte-Foy, Jessica has been a member of the Order of Medical Imaging Technologists, in Radio-Oncology and Medical Electrophysiology of Quebec (OTIMROEPMQ) since June 2012. Her experience in the health field began in 2010 with a 14-week internship in radiology at CSSS de Chicoutimi. In 2012, a second 19-week internship in radiology at Hôtel-Dieu de Québec allowed her to further enrich her knowledge in medical imaging.

Jessica has been working at the Podiatric Clinic of the Falls since its opening on June 2, 2014, and wishes to bring her experience in the health field to the clinic by taking care of medical imaging, postural imaging, as well as administrative management, always with the aim of effectively meeting the needs of patients. Resourceful, diligent, and versatile, Jessica is an important asset to the clinic.
