Native of the region, Dr. Vicky Delisle, podiatrist, has a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières since 2012, during which she completed a hospital internship in New York. In April 2012, Dr. Delisle underwent training on joint mobilizations of the feet, called FMT or Foot Mobilization Techniques. She is also trained to practice Active Release Technique (manual therapy), in Integrated Therapeutic Foot Techniques (ITFT) as well as various therapeutic tapping methods. She is qualified to use a diagnostic ultrasound device. A sports enthusiast, Dr. Delisle loves running.

Dr. Laure Richer, podiatrist, originally from Chicoutimi, has a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières since 2019, during which she completed an internship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, as well as in a hospital setting in some hospitals in Quebec. Very committed, she also participated in a humanitarian mission in Vietnam in August 2018 and in Morocco in the summer of 2019. She completed a master’s degree in clinical and biomedical sciences at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi. She published an article in the journal The Foot which is actually her master’s thesis on the impact of plantar fasciitis on postural control and walking in young adults. She is passionate about pediatric clientele as well as dance, which she has been practicing since the age of 3.

Dr. Anthony Lemieux, a podiatrist from the area, holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières since 2026. Passionate about sports, he wants it to be an integral part of his practice with a strong interest in sports podiatry and biomechanics. Following internships in a hospital setting during his training, he was able to deepen his knowledge of the management of diabetic ulcers. Holding a diagnostic ultrasound license allows him to make musculoskeletal diagnoses and perform ultrasound-guided treatments, such as injections. His goal is to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients through a professional and human approach.

Dr. Maïka Saint-Gelais, podiatrist, is originally from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. She holds a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, during which she completed several internships in hospital settings in various U.S. states, as well as with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Saint-Gelais opened the Saguenay Podiatric Clinic in 1998. She was the proud recipient, in 2009, of the Businesswoman of the Year award, in the Professional category, presented by the Corporation of Businesswomen of Saguenay. She is passionate about wound care and biomechanics.
