Co-founder of the PiedMed Podiatry Clinic, Dr. Marilou Arsenault, podiatrist, has been administering podiatric treatments since graduating in 2013. Originally from Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians, she first practiced in her hometown, then in Repentigny, before establishing her practice in Boisbriand.

Responsive to the challenges of her daily life as a podiatrist, Dr. Arsenault enjoys treating plantar ailments of various natures, whether they are musculoskeletal, dermatological, or related to toenails.

A multidisciplinary training background

Trained at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières, Dr. Arsenault holds a first-cycle doctorate from the podiatric medicine program. Later, she adds to her practical training a 4-month internship at the renowned New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Concerned with the health of the human body as a whole, she has also obtained a certificate in nutrition from McGill University.

In addition to her knowledge gained through her university curriculum, Dr. Arsenault, podiatrist, holds a radiology practice license. To be able to further enhance the treatments she offers to her patients, she also has training in foot ultrasound. She uses ultrasound to guide cortisone injections and visco-supplements such as Sportvis, Orthovisc, Cingal.

Day to day, Marilou Arsenault, DPM, defines herself as a multidisciplinary practitioner. Thus, she enjoys addressing the various issues that cause her patients’ foot pain. Whether they are elderly, young, athletic, or in the process of getting back in shape, podiatrist Marilou Arsenault is capable of assisting them.
