Dr. Claudia Charette, podiatrist-owner

Dr. Claudia Charette, podiatrist, has also been the owner of the Saint-Jérôme Podiatric Center since 2012.

Alongside Dr. Marc Desforges, one of the first renowned podiatrists in Quebec, Claudia Charette recognizes the importance of the benefits of podiatry for the population. This reassures her of the validity of her vocation, which is to improve people’s lives. In 2008, she obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from UQTR with honors, and completed a 4-month internship at the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Four years later, she acquired the Saint-Jérôme Podiatric Center and joined the Order of Podiatrists of Quebec. Since then, she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her mission: helping her patients maintain their mobility to live healthily. Committed to promoting podiatric health, she is a member of the Association of Podiatrists of Quebec, as well as the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Laurianne Bélanger, podiatrist

Dr. Laurianne Bélanger joined the Saint-Jérôme Podiatric Center in 2020.

This doctoral candidate in podiatric medicine from UQTR has an impressive arsenal of skills, starting with her mastery of musculoskeletal ultrasound techniques of the foot and ankle, essential for the biomechanical analysis of patients and ultrasound-guided care. She has also honed her expertise in wound care in several hospital care centers in Quebec and New York. She puts all this know-how to the service of the prevention and recovery of athletes of all levels, among whom foot and ankle injuries are common.

Humanistic and generous, Dr. Laurianne Bélanger volunteers in several sports events (the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie), community events (Lauberivière, accueil Bonneau), and humanitarian efforts (Association of Podiatrists Without Borders, in Vietnam).

Dr. Julianne Jetté, Podiatrist

Dr. Julianne Jetté joins the Saint-Jérôme Podiatric Center in 2024, alongside Dr. Charette and Dr. Bélanger. A doctoral student in podiatric medicine at UQTR, she welcomes and treats patients to address all types of issues, regardless of their age and condition. She also masters musculoskeletal ultrasound techniques of the foot and ankle, essential for the biomechanical analysis of patients and ultrasound-guided care.

Gentle and empathetic, Dr. Julianne Jetté is a professional who knows how to listen to and understand her very young patients. She is also honing her skills in podopediatrics to provide excellent care to children suffering from various foot problems.
