Holder of a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Dr. Samy Ajarrag, podiatrist, adopts a human, rigorous approach focused on the needs of each of his patients. Passionate about biomechanics, foot medicine, and approaches based on the latest scientific data, he places great importance on providing modern, personalized care tailored to each person’s lifestyle.
Also holding a research-oriented master’s degree, Dr. Ajarrag continuously updates his knowledge to integrate the most current treatments and technologies into his practice. Throughout his academic and clinical journey, he has also distinguished himself by receiving several awards highlighting his commitment and professionalism.
During his internships in clinical and hospital settings, notably at the Lanaudière Regional Hospital Center (CHRDL) as well as at the Zivot Limb Preservation Centre at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, he developed a marked interest in diabetic foot, prevention of complications, and management of complex foot and ankle pathologies, including certain conditions that may require surgical intervention.
Interested in sports medicine and musculoskeletal pain of the foot and ankle, Dr. Ajarrag favors an approach aimed not only at relieving pain but also at identifying its cause to help his patients quickly and confidently return to their activities.
