Toenail deformity : treatments - PiedRéseau Saint-Léonard

The PiedRéseau Saint-Léonard clinic offers specialized treatments for toenail deformities, a common issue that can affect individuals of all ages. Our team of podiatrists is dedicated to identifying the specific causes of toenail deformities, which may arise from factors such as trauma, fungal infections, or underlying health conditions. We provide a comprehensive assessment and a range of treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs, ensuring effective management of thickened, misshapen, or discolored toenails.

Located in Saint-Léonard, our clinic is equipped with advanced technology, including therapeutic lasers and 3D foot scanning, to enhance the treatment experience. Our podiatrists conduct thorough examinations and necessary tests, such as nail fungal cultures, to determine the most appropriate course of action. Treatment plans may include manual nail care, orthonyxia, laser therapy, or surgical interventions, depending on the individual case.

The PiedRéseau Saint-Léonard team is led by Dr. Paryse Mayhew and Dr. Gabriel Cartier, both of whom obtained their Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degrees from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières in 2020. Dr. Mayhew has completed internships in pediatrics, surgery, and wound care, while Dr. Cartier has a background in kinesiology, enhancing his understanding of biomechanics. Both podiatrists are actively involved in humanitarian missions through the Association of Podiatrists Without Borders.
