Dr. Jean-Philippe Chamberland is the founder of PiedRéseau Bromont. He practices comprehensive, modern, and rigorous podiatric care, focused on diagnostic precision, therapeutic innovation, and the use of advanced technological tools.

A current and structured expertise

A graduate of the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program at UQTR in 2019, Dr. Chamberland remains constantly aware of scientific and therapeutic advancements in foot and ankle pathologies. His four-month externship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine helped enrich his clinical training and solidify his structured approach to musculoskeletal disorders.

An authentic passion for endurance sports

A triathlete and endurance sports enthusiast, Dr. Chamberland regularly participates in long-distance events, including marathons, trail runs, and Ironman triathlons. He has notably taken part in several Ironman events and continues his active involvement in this field, with planned participations in Ironman Ottawa, Ironman Canada in Ottawa, and Ironman Japan in Hokkaido.

This personal experience in endurance sports fuels his understanding of biomechanical constraints, injury prevention, and the reality of athletes, whether amateur or competitive.

A committed and versatile podiatrist

In parallel to his practice in Bromont, Dr. Chamberland also works at the Podiatric Surgery Clinic of Montreal alongside his colleague, Dr. William Lee, where he actively participates in performing podiatric surgeries. This collaboration allows him to maintain a solid expertise in pre and postoperative follow-up while continuing to develop and refine his surgical techniques.

Furthermore, he is a member of the board of directors of Diabète Brome-Missisquoi, actively involved in supporting and improving the prevention and management of diabetes-related complications within the local population.

Dr. Laurence Douville Dessureault, podiatrist, joined the PiedRéseau Bromont team in 2022. Her modern approach, interest in sports, and sparkling energy have allowed her to perfectly integrate into the team’s ideals.

Diverse Accomplishments

Laurence Douville obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières in 2022. As part of her training, she completed several internships in private, surgical, and hospital settings, allowing her to develop her skills and competencies in various areas of her profession.

An avid walker and runner, she has a particular interest in biomechanics, especially in athletes of all levels. Her gentleness, patience, and empathetic nature also make her an excellent practitioner with children. Her practice is focused on education and prevention.

An Involved Podiatrist

From the beginning of her university journey, Laurence Douville has been involved in managing community clinics in Montreal and Quebec.

She regularly assists Dr. William Lee, podiatric surgeon, in his clinics in Montreal and Brossard. This experience provides her with a greater understanding of more invasive surgical interventions, as well as ease in pre- and postoperative patient support.

Always ready to dedicate herself, she has also supervised podiatry students during interventions at the Bromont Ultra, and she volunteers when young podiatry students need to do observational internships.

Patricia stands out for her human, caring, and deeply respectful approach to her patients’ comfort. Recognized for her gentleness and meticulousness, she performs foot care with great sensitivity, taking the necessary time to provide a reassuring and safe experience.

Her technical precision, combined with particularly delicate hands, makes her a professional appreciated by a diverse clientele, including diabetic patients or those requiring regular and attentive care. Patricia places particular importance on listening, prevention, and education, thus contributing to the maintenance of optimal podiatric health.

Patients frequently highlight her calmness, kindness, and the quality of her interventions, which make each visit comfortable and pleasant.

Émily has been assisting Dr. Chamberland, a podiatrist, in his procedures since 2024. A registered nurse since 2023, she previously worked at the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins (BMP) hospital for five years. With her experience in various departments of the hospital, her presence at the clinic is highly appreciated by both patients and podiatrists.

Émily’s role at the clinic is very diverse: she can assist during surgeries, take blood samples, and perform certain care independently. She answers patients’ questions and checks the healing of wounds following procedures with kindness and professionalism.
