Dr. Marie-Ève Berthiaume holds a doctorate in podiatric medicine since 2011; she is both a podiatrist and the founder of the first podiatry clinic in the Rivière-des-Prairies / Pointe-aux-Trembles borough. Following a successful career that spanned across several establishments in Gatineau, Laval and Boucherville, she has finally opened her own clinic in Montreal, in 2015.
As an active member of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec, Dr. Berthiaume is a respected leader in her community.

Podiatrist Dr. Berthiaume’s scope of expertise is built by her tireless pursuit of professional development.
After graduating from UQTR’s undergraduate podiatric medicine program, she had immediately enrolled in the New York College of Podiatric Medicine to complete her university education.
During her studies, DPM Marie-Ève Berthiaume regularly participated in training initiatives including conferences, congresses and continuing education workshops. One of them had been given by the Canadian Wound Care Association.
In order to offer the most comprehensive podiatric treatments possible, Dr. Berthiaume has completed training in wound care (level 1 and 2). She is also certified to perform manual foot therapy (TTIP) and the fitting of therapeutic neuro-proprioceptive bandages.
From children to the elderly, including diabetic patients, podiatrist Marie-Ève Berthiaume has the ability to treat a wide spectrum of clients, thanks to her extensive knowledge.

Dr. Catherine Roy Bénard, podiatrist, has been a part of the Pointe-de-l’Île podiatry clinic team since 2016. Dr. Roy Bénard, who has a doctorate in podiatric medicine, handles her patients in a warm and open-minded setting.
An immersive academic journey
Dr. Roy Bénard, like her colleague Dr. Marie-Ève Berthiaume, had four years of podiatric medical training at the UQTR. Prior to graduating in 2015, she had to do a 4-month internship at the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Similarly , she was asked to do a wound care internship at the Centre Hospitalier Regional de Lanaudière. This professional experience helped her to become acquainted with diabetic and hemodialysis patients.
In addition to her academic credentials, podiatrist Roy Bénard has received training in manual foot therapy, allowing her to extend the spectrum of services she offers. Dr. Roy Bénard, podiatrist, now a member of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec, is eager to complete the annual hours of continuing education required of her.

David Youdim graduated from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivieres with a Doctorate in podiatric medicine in 2019 and is certified by the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He just joined the Pointe-de-l’Île Podiatry Clinic as a member of the team. He has, nonetheless, completed multiple hospital rotations prior to this.
Dr. David Youdim, podiatrist, excels in the field of podiatric radiology because of his analytical mind and keen sense of observation.
An expertise grown by many various experiences
Podiatrist Dr. David Youdim has gained invaluable expertise in a variety of settings. He has rotated at the Manhattan Metropolitan Hospital, the Lanaudière Regional Hospital in Joliette, the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke, and the Centre hospitalier affilié universitaire régional de Trois-Rivières, among others. As a result of his experiences, he is now able to deliver high-quality podiatric care.
This member of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec previously completed two years of occupational therapy studies at McGill University and a semester at the University of Saint-Boniface in Winnipeg. He has primarily treated diabetic foot over his budding career. He is, nevertheless, interested in digital foot radiography, podopediatrics, and biomechanics.
