Dr. Vance Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist, enthusiastically joins the team at the Stéphanie Bonneau Podiatric Clinic Inc, a significant place in his journey, as it is where he nurtured his initial interests in podiatry. Originally from the South Shore (Chambly and Longueuil), he is proud to return to practice in his hometown.

Committed and passionate, Dr. Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist places great importance on the concrete impact of his profession on the quality of life of patients. Aware that foot conditions can be very debilitating, he particularly appreciates the effectiveness of certain simple treatments and their immediate effect on people’s well-being.

He has a particular interest in wound care and minor surgery, areas in which he deepened his expertise during a specialized internship in Calgary during his university training. He also masters the clinical aspects of podiatric dermatology and biomechanics.

Recognized for his listening skills and human approach, he always aims to establish a trusting relationship with his patients in order to offer them personalized and high-quality care.

During his studies, Dr. Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist was actively involved in the student association, notably as vice-president of external affairs and as a member of the program committee. This involvement allowed him to sit on the board of directors of the Quebec Podiatrists Association, an enriching experience that today fuels his desire to contribute to the evolution of his profession.

On a personal level, he is passionate about running, piano, and history. Of Latino-Canadian origin, born in Quebec, he speaks Spanish fluently.
