Graduated from the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR) since 2013, Dr. Stéphanie Bonneau, podiatrist, also had the opportunity to enhance her learning during her participation in an internship at the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM).

She then began her career practicing at the Podiatric Clinic of Montreal, the Podiatric Center of Saint-Jérôme, and the DIX30 Specialist Clinic for a few years.

Originally from the South Shore of Montreal, she decided in 2015 to open her own clinic in Longueuil.

Driven by the practice of her profession and her community contribution, Dr. Bonneau, podiatrist, became involved with the Association of Podiatrists of Quebec in 2014 as secretary. This experience allowed her, for a few years, to stay updated on the latest news and developments surrounding her profession as a podiatrist.

With a concern to keep her skills up to date and to always stay informed of the latest advancements and technologies in the field of podiatric medicine, Dr. Stéphanie Bonneau, podiatrist, participates every year in several diverse continuing education courses.

Interested in sports podiatry, she has notably participated in training on dynamic and neuro-proprioceptive taping treatment.

Endowed with great humanism and an excellent sense of listening, Dr. Bonneau, podiatrist, founded her own clinic to leverage her vision of podiatry, centered on the human and their needs.

Graduated in 2015, Dr. Catherine Roy Bénard, podiatrist, has several years of professional experience in podiatry and has been a member of the team at the Stéphanie Bonneau Podiatric Clinic Inc since 2023. Holding a doctorate in podiatric medicine, Dr. Roy Bénard treats her patients in a human-centered environment with great open-mindedness.

Dr. Roy Bénard, podiatrist, completed 4 years of training in podiatric medicine at UQTR. Her academic training concluded in 2015 with a 4-month internship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. In the same year, she was also called to complete an internship in wound care at the regional hospital center of Lanaudière as well as internships in various private clinics in the greater Montreal area. This clinical experience allowed her to become familiar with diabetic patients and those on hemodialysis.

In addition to her academic qualifications, podiatrist Roy Bénard also has training in manual foot therapy as well as a radiology license that allows her to expand the type of care she provides.

A member of the Order of Podiatrists of Quebec, Dr. Roy Bénard, podiatrist, submits to the mandatory continuing education hours each year.

The personal qualities and professional skills of Dr. Roy Bénard, podiatrist, make her a multidisciplinary podiatrist capable of helping both athletes and young or elderly patients with various issues.

Having developed a growing interest in travel from a young age, Dr. Roy Bénard, podiatrist, has managed to combine this interest with her vocation as a podiatrist. In August 2014, she traveled to Morocco to provide podiatric care in a small Berber village.

Dr. Catherine Roy Bénard, podiatrist, orchestrates podiatric treatments by advocating for a transparent and human approach tailored to the particularities of each patient.

Dr. Bougie, podiatrist, holds a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the Order of Podiatrists of Quebec. She also holds a radiology license as well as a targeted foot ultrasound license; all of which allows her to conduct a more thorough assessment and injections with ultrasound guidance.

Having completed several internships during her university studies, she has developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal injuries and the management of diabetic foot ulcers.

Passionate, rigorous, and versatile, Dr. Bougie, podiatrist, is dedicated to the health of her patients, which is demonstrated by her very human approach.

Dr. Vance Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist, enthusiastically joins the team at the Stéphanie Bonneau Podiatric Clinic Inc, a significant place in his journey, as it is where he nurtured his initial interests in podiatry. Originally from the South Shore (Chambly and Longueuil), he is proud to return to practice in his hometown.

Committed and passionate, Dr. Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist places great importance on the concrete impact of his profession on the quality of life of patients. Aware that foot conditions can be very debilitating, he particularly appreciates the effectiveness of certain simple treatments and their immediate effect on people’s well-being.

He has a particular interest in wound care and minor surgery, areas in which he deepened his expertise during a specialized internship in Calgary during his university training. He also masters the clinical aspects of podiatric dermatology and biomechanics.

Recognized for his listening skills and human approach, he always aims to establish a trusting relationship with his patients in order to offer them personalized and high-quality care.

During his studies, Dr. Alvarez-Laprade, podiatrist was actively involved in the student association, notably as vice-president of external affairs and as a member of the program committee. This involvement allowed him to sit on the board of directors of the Quebec Podiatrists Association, an enriching experience that today fuels his desire to contribute to the evolution of his profession.

On a personal level, he is passionate about running, piano, and history. Of Latino-Canadian origin, born in Quebec, he speaks Spanish fluently.
