Since obtaining her doctorate in April 2017, Dr. Maria Hajj, podiatrist, has been collaborating with the two establishments that make up the Gatineau Podiatry Clinic. Having initially practiced at the clinic located in Aylmer, she is now taking care of patients in the Hull neighborhood.

Alert and possessing remarkable listening skills, podiatrist Maria Hajj makes it her duty to offer the most comprehensive support to those who seek her expertise as a practitioner.

Trained to provide comprehensive podiatric care

Truly interested in all aspects of health sciences, Dr. Maria Hajj began her journey as a podiatrist by enrolling in a bachelor’s degree in physical activity sciences.

In the same spirit, she completed a first-cycle doctorate in podiatric medicine at UQTR in 2017. During this four-year university training, Dr. Hajj, podiatrist, had the opportunity to complete several internships in a hospital setting in Joliette. As part of her second clinical immersion, she went to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine to enhance her expertise in diabetic wound care.

Not lacking in ideas to enhance her interventions, podiatrist Maria Hajj holds a radiology license as well as a certification in foot and ankle ultrasound.

Possessing in-depth knowledge and technical skills recognized by the Order of Podiatrists of Quebec and the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics, she is able to treat several types of patients.

Whether it is to treat an athlete, a young child, or an elderly person, Dr. Hajj, podiatrist, knows how to mobilize her great versatility to relieve the most diverse foot ailments.

A podiatrist who gives back to her community

Always ready to step out of her comfort zone, podiatrist Maria Hajj has been involved more than once with Accueil Bonneau. Eventually, she would like to extend her volunteer involvement internationally by participating in humanitarian trips focused on podopediatrics.
