Graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia in 1996, Dr. Philippe Legaré, podiatrist, established his practice in Trois-Rivières. Driven by passion, he continuously renews and enhances his skills through specialized training, such as Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Motion and Palpation Institute (MPI), neuro-proprioceptive taping, Dynamic Tape, posturology, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and various advancements in biomechanics, particularly in the field of running.
In 2003, following the passing of one of his colleagues and mentors, Ronald Perrault, he took over Cryos Technologies, his mentor’s orthotics laboratory, with renowned associates. Here, he conducted research and development on posture analysis and technological innovations aimed at improving orthotics, including 3D printing, the design and creation of the CryoScan3D foot impression scanner, and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
Dedicated to the development and future of his profession, Dr. Philippe Legaré, Podiatrist, worked as an instructor at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières for seven years in the doctorate program in podiatric medicine, where he supervised students during their clinical training. He has also been a tutor for medical students at the Université de Montréal during Problem-Based Learning on the musculoskeletal system at the CIUSSS de Trois-Rivières for the past four years.
He is also committed to mentoring future podiatric professionals, serving as a consultant to guide young podiatrists in their professional journey, first during the startup of their clinics and later providing support in various areas. Additionally, Dr. Philippe Legaré, podiatrist, presented at international biomechanics and prescription of orthotics conferences (PFOLA) in 2005 (Vancouver) and 2006 (Chicago). He has also been a speaker in podopediatrics for the continuing education of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec and the Association des Médecins omnipraticiens de la Mauricie.
Finally, Dr. Philippe Legaré, podiatrist, is passionate about running. He has participated in several half-marathons, marathons, and the 2014 Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant. He will be delighted to share his extensive expertise in this field with you.
With a diverse background in health sciences, including a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field (Merck Frosst Canada), Dr. Nathalie Barbeau, podiatrist, was one of the first graduates of the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 2008. Podiatry allowed her to fulfill her desire to care for people and improve their well-being.
Dr. Nathalie Barbeau, podiatrist, established her practice at the Clinique Podiatrique Philippe Legaré, where she became an associate two years later. Balancing her professional passion and family, she found time to expand her knowledge through additional training in sports injuries, including Active Release Techniques® (ART®), neuro-proprioceptive taping, Dynamic Tape, Motion and Palpation Institute (MPI), integrated therapeutic foot techniques (TTIP), and several courses on running analysis and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Driven by her commitment to public protection and the advancement of her profession, she served on the board of directors of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec for five years, representing the regions. She was responsible for the order’s involvement in medication-related matters and played a key role in implementing continuing education for podiatrists in Quebec in 2010-2011.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nathalie Barbeau, podiatrist, has believed in the importance of community involvement. She is a member of the Regroupement des Femmes de carrière de la Mauricie and Femmessor, through which she contributes to her community. She also educates the public on foot health by sharing her passion, serving as a speaker for the Association des diabétiques de la Mauricie, Femmes Dynamiques, and Séminaire St-Joseph. This year, she mentored medical students from the Université de Montréal during Problem-Based Learning on the musculoskeletal system at the CIUSSS de Trois-Rivières. Additionally, she fosters the next generation of podiatric professionals by hosting future podiatrists for a day at her clinic.
First and foremost, holding a Bachelor of Medical Biology, Dr. Audrey Bergeron, podiatrist, quickly turned to podiatry to fulfill her passion for helping people in their daily lives. She graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in May 2012. She also completed a 4-month internship at the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine to further her knowledge in biomechanics, podopediatrics, and general podiatric medicine.
Furthermore, she has received training in neuro-proprioceptive taping, Dynamic Tape, Active Release Techniques® (ART®), and musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is committed to continuing her education with various complementary courses throughout her career to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in her profession, ensuring the best services for her patients.
Upon completing her studies, Dr. Audrey Bergeron, a native of Trois-Rivières, made the decision to leave her hometown and start her own clinic in the west of Laval. Proud of her success, she later chose to return to work in her hometown after two years of practice. With great pleasure and determination, Dr. Audrey Bergeron, podiatrist, joined the team at Clinique Podiatrique Legaré & Barbeau in June 2014 to share her passion and knowledge with the local community.
More recently, she also became a co-owner of the clinic, partnering with Dr. Legaré and Dr. Barbeau, podiatrists, in July 2018.
Dr. Sarah-Danielle Lemire, podiatrist, successfully completed her studies in 2012 as part of the undergraduate Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières. During her studies, she completed a four-month internship at the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she deepened her knowledge of surgery, biomechanics, and podiatric medicine. She also has three years of nursing studies as part of her academic background.
In her pursuit of providing high-quality service, Dr. Sarah-Danielle Lemire, podiatrist, furthered her education with various continuing education courses. She has received training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, neuro-proprioceptive taping, Dynamic Tape, Active Release Techniques® (ART®), and running analysis. In 2014, she participated in a half-marathon.
Dr. Lemire is very dynamic and active, passionate about podiatry, particularly podopediatrics. She is the mother of a beautiful little girl and, more recently, a baby boy.
